The new reporting solution transforms your management suite data into actionable insights through a modern ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process and Microsoft Power BI integration. This tutorial guides you through the complete setup process — from installing the Data Integration Service to configuring Power BI templates across different environments.

Solution Components

The solution consists of three components that work together to transform raw data into actionable insights:

• ETL Process: The baramundi Data Integration Service automatically transforms data from your baramundi environment into a structured data warehouse (Microsoft SQL Server).

• Data Warehouse: A separate Microsoft SQL Server database enables multiple use cases and direct customer influence. Unlike the baramundi Management Suite database, you can add custom tables and extend the schema.

• Reporting Engine: Our ready-to-use Power BI templates let you customize and integrate additional external data sources and deploy in either SaaS (cloud) or on-premises Power BI environments. Alternatively, you can connect your own Reporting Engine with the Data Warehouse.

Data Flow
