A job for Windows devices takes place in four phases:
-
The server tells the client that there are jobs available.
-
The client then signals the server that it is ready to execute.
-
The server passes the job(s) to the client.
-
The client notifies the server of the job history after execution/rejection.

Before jobs can be transferred from the server to target systems, some preparations usually have to be made. Software to be distributed must be available on the DIP and objects such as applications or operating systems must be created with the necessary automation information. |
